Digital Illustration

Even though my career is focused more towards matte painting and VFX I still enjoy expressing my ideas through illustration and experimenting with different techniques to come up with interesting results. As an artist for me, the process is less important than the final result, for me its about getting from A to B by what ever means possible. I understand many would disagree with this and for many people the process is equally as important, if not more important than the final piece. One of my goals in exprimenting is been able to reduce that process while allowing for unlimited and artistic freedom.

About me ...

David has been focusing his career in the visual effects industry for the last 10 years, specifically as a matte painter/environment artist. He's worked on a number of high profile projects including James Cameron's Avatar, Where the Wild Things Are, Clash of the Titans, Me and Orson Welles, Prince Caspian, Ashes to Ashes (BBC) and a number of TV commercials for clients including; Mastercard, Panosonic and Carling.

David is currently based in London (UK) and available
